Average available income of lowest Albanians in Europe

The way income and wealth are distributed throughout society determines the extent to which individuals have equal access to goods and services produced within a national economy. A very important measure of income distribution, according to Eurostat, is available equivilised media revenues (enviable income) expressed in the standard of purchasing power (PPS) per resident.
The average available income of Albanians is much lower than the European average, representing only 24.5% of the EU average. According to Eurostat, in 2020, average available income averaged 17 871 PPS for EU residents.
After Albania, the lowest average available income is in northern Macedonia (5,988 PPS) and Serbia (6602 PPS). Data for Kosovo and Bosnia and Herzegovina is missing.
Other Eurostat publications, for per capita income and consumption, Albania has the worst standard of living indicators. With 32% of the European average Albania remains the last in Europe for per capita income for 2021, according to the latest data published by Eurostat (the data does not include Kosovo).
Bosnia and Herzegovina has per capita incomes of as much as 33% of the EU average, while northern Macedonia has the index 10 percentage points higher than Albania (42), Serbia 44 and the record in the region hold Montenegro at 47%.
In the other index, that of individual consumption per capita, measuring the purchasing power of citizens of a country and their material well-being, Albania is still the last, with 39% of the European average. Bosnia has this index of 41%, Northern Macedonia 49, Serbia 52 and Montenegro 60%.

This indicator was significantly different in EU member states and ranged from 28 675 PPS in Luxembourg, 724 PPS in Romania.
The highest average available income levels were registered in the Western and Nordic member states of the EU, such as Luxembourg (28 675 PPS), Germany (24 212 PPS), Austria (23 334 PPS) and Belgium (22 294 PPS). On the other hand, the average available income was lower in most of the South and East Member States, such as Romania (7 724 PPS), Bulgaria (8 647 PPS), Hungary (9 699 PPS) and Slovakia (10 076 PPS). /Monitor. al
