The state of emergency, as well as the measures imposed for preventing the spread of the coronary, will end on August 1st in France, following a bill adopted by the French Parliament.
MPs at the National Assembly voted 184 pro and 149 against.
The bill is set to replace the state of emergency imposed in March 2020, which also included extraordinary measures of coronavirus as a deadlock, the obligation to wear masks, as well as maintaining a health permit.
“In the event of a health crisis in the future, if the government needs extraordinary competencies, it will have to negotiate them one by one with parliament,” Senator Philip Bass noted after the vote.
