Hill, says it is “concerned about the lack of progress and that co-operation here is important to the European-United Union of America”.
I'm worried about the lack of progress in dialogue. I don't know what the right move would be to include the US, but the EU has a specific view of dialogue and its position is that it is dialogue that will pave the way for EU membership. After all, it has had previous experiences that it has learned it does not want to involve countries that will bring problems because they already have enough of their problems. The concept of dialogue is to clarify problems before EU accession”, Hill added in an interview given to the Serbian newspaper “Blic”.
In the same career diplomat interview, the diplomat added that it is most important that Brussels and Washington work together because they have common interest in the dialogue coming to an end.
“It is not appropriate for dialogue to flow without any results, I think we should all gather and think about how to make progress to”
Former Kosovo Ambassador to Washington Vlora Citaku says American politics characterises consistency in their politics in the Western Balkans.
“Without American involvement, no problems have been solved on the European continent”, she added, reported Klan Kosova.
Citaku, criticised the government for sending the dialogue on technical topics. According to her, the talks should be political and leading to a deal where mutual recognition is central.
