Over 1 million tourists visited Albania during June, alone from Kosovo were 400,000

June was a good month for the number of foreigners and Albanians who have visited Albania, mainly on vacation. With the flow of movement, this year exceeds 2019, as the year has had the highest number of vacationers.

In June, 130,000 people came to Albania from abroad. The figure is high, with a 45% increase compared to June of last year. Only foreign citizens who visited our country were 880 thousand.

The latter came mainly in the second half of the month to rest in our country. Most stayed on the coast, but there was no shortage of visitors to mountains and cities without stories of tourism.

From Kosovo alone, there were 395 thousand people. Germans and Poles have also chosen our country in June.

In the first 6 months of the year, the number of foreigners who came to the country was 2.5 million, up 50% compared to 2021.

In this period, Greece has had the largest growth of 5.6 times, also influenced by immigrants returning home.

With these figures, expectations of this being a better tourist year for Albania are becoming even more concrete, as compared to 2019, the number of visitors has been exceeded
