Zelensky: Nobody knows how long the war will last

In his daily video speech, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has said no one knows how long the war will last in Ukraine, but he praised how his armed forces were preventing Russian troops from conquering the country's birth.

Zelensky, said he was proud of Ukrainians who were curbing Russian progress in the Donbas region.

Russian invading forces failed to capture the capital Kyev in the early days of the war, forcing it to focus on Donbas, trying to capture parts of the predominantly Russian-speaking region still under Kiev's control.
