In an interview for the Financial Times, Zelensky said that until “any war should end at the negotiating table”, the “position for victory must be reached on the battlefield”.
Zelensky also reserved serious criticism for French President Emmanuel Macron, of his stance where he had said “we will not humiliate Russia”.
Some people want to be leaders. In order to be a leader, you shouldn't consider yourself to be such, but you have to act as leader”, Zelensky said. “This is very, very surprising”.
