VVI assisters' chief in Suhareka among 11 prisoners arrested for subsidies

The Directorate of Economic Crimes and Corruption in the Kosovo Police today has carried out action in six municipalities in the country, arresting 11 people, where three are officials and eight benefit subsidies. The operation was conducted in Pec, Istog, Decan, Year, Suhareka and Ferizaj.

Democracy. com has learned that among those arrested is the Asamist of the Vetevendosje Movement in Suhareka, Liridon Fadi. In the meantime Periscop has learned that he's also the head of VV's ambists there.

Faye on his Facebook account has numerous posts and photos of activities as Vetevendosje Movement activist, while good friendships are with LVV deputy Salih Zyba, who also comes from Suhareka.

Zyba was the candidate for Suhareka chairman in the last elections, but did not get a 9 per cent vote.

Salih Zyba, refused to speak with the argument that “is in an inappropriate atmosphere”. The same questions were sent through SMS, but no answers were answered.

According to the Kosovo Police, those arrested were allegedly involved in criminal acts abuse of office or official authority, bribery, bribery, subsidies for legal documents and obstruction of official evidence or procedure.

Three of those arrested are official persons, while eight suspected persons are beneficiaries of subsidies allegedly benefiting subsidies through bribery and forging documents.

After interviewing the suspects, more court decision by the prosecutor, the eleven suspects have been sent to holding for up to 48 hours.
