The ruling party's MP, Dimal Basha, does not want to be asked by journalists in Kosovo at all about the possibility of forming the Association of Serb majority municipalities in Kosovo -- a request repeated by the international community.
Vetevendosje MP has suggested to Online Economics reporter that “since he is a journalist of the Republic of Kosovo” not to address the issue of association, because that is how he sends “to Serbia's mill and Vuciqit”.
“Association is the issue of Serbia, and Serbia is wanting to do. If you're here to send it to the agenda in front of the Wolfie, I don't understand why... The Constitutional Court has ruled in connection with Association”.
There's a court ruling, and if you still want to talk to Asociation, and you call it water in Vucinqi's mill Serbia, then it's your affair”, has continued to hold “ders” MP Basha, when asked about this subject.
The issue of the Association of Serb-run municipalities has returned to discussion. The rapporteur for Kosovo in the European Parliament, Violet von Cremon, has declared that the Kosovo government has a proposal for implementation of the agreement for Association of Serb-run municipalities.
Von Croamon, in an interview for KTV last week, has said there must be compromises in dialogue.
German Ambassador to Kosovo Joern Rohde has also criticised Kosovo leaders for their lack of progress in dialogue. He has said Germany does not want a “Republika Srpska” in Kosovo, but has added that Brussels' agreements exist. He has requested concrete proposals from the Government of Kosovo, saying that when you refuse something, you should bring your proposal to the table.
Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti has reiterated that Kosovo has the Association of Communities and that it is enough for it. “I am not aware as prime minister of any plan for the Serb majority AK. He's been treated a lot. I have nothing to add. The constitution in Kosovo does not tolerate association on ethnic grounds, on development grounds but not on ethnic grounds. Neither do Serbs have priority, they want jobs, development, health”, repeated Kurti, questioned by journalists.
