Allied exercises include eight military-one and 7 Korean tactical systems that were launched in the eastern waters of South Korea over 10 minutes after reports of water and air security, the two armies reported.
The missile launch was aimed at demonstrating the ability to respond quickly and precisely to North Korea's attacks, South Korean Army said.
