Allied exercises include eight military-one and 7 Korean tactical systems that were launched in the eastern waters of South Korea over 10 minutes after reports of water and air security, the two armies reported.
The missile launch was aimed at demonstrating the ability to respond quickly and precisely to North Korea's attacks, South Korean Army said.
The country's president, Yoon Suk Yeol, said during his speech Monday that his government would pursue <x0 fundamental and practical security capabilities” to counter South Korea's growing nuclear weapons and its threats. /Periscopi/
