It has started in Thessaloniki, Greece, the summit of 13 states of the Southeast European Co-operation Process. The meeting of foreign ministers takes place during the morning, and in the evening, governments' leaders are expected to gather with the presence of German Chancellor Olaf Scholz and European Council President Charles Michel. Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama and Kosovo President Vjosa Osmani will also attend the meeting.
The summit's plenary session will begin with Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis's welcoming address, and will then continue with talks by other delegation leaders.
The SEECP summit will focus on exchanging views on regional co-operation, the impact of international developments, particularly the war in Ukraine in the region. The annual regional co-operation report is expected to be adopted in the end.
