Serbian chief negotiator Petar Petkovic says his Kosovo counterpart, Besnik Bislim, has agreed to start discussions on the Serb majority municipalities' association after the energy agreement is reached.
“We agreed on the Energy Guide and now the road is open for talks to establish the Association of Serb-based municipalities. We have been waiting 10 years for the implementation of the energy agreement, we have waited 10 years for the Brussels Agreement and the first six points of the Serbian municipalities' association”, Petkovic said.
He says Kosovo challenges Serbs in the north and that the guide determines the steps.
“Aphats start when Pristina releases license for Elektrosever. This is what we have been waiting for years and what Pristina has refused, for this Pristina has neither wanted to talk to”, he has said.
Yesterday Kosovo and Serbia have agreed to implement the energy deal guide.
