Petkovic goes so far in his statement, saying the government of Kosovo, with new decisions on license plates and IDs, “Albin Kurti has threatened Serbs in Kosovo”.
“The decision of institutions in Pristina to ban Serbian IDs, and after September 30th the removal of the license plates with city names KMH, ? GL. PRHOUR and others, with notice that after this deadline these vehicles will be confiscated, it is a direct blow for all Serbs in the south and especially north of Ibrit”, Petkovic said in a communiqué.
It is unacceptable to have representatives of the international community remain silent and claim to be slow until Albin Kurti is preparing the start of a major conflict and attack on Serbs at the end of September”.
“With their silence, they become direct accomplices to the new destabilisation of the situation on the ground, directed by Albin Kurti, caused by the new unilateral decision of power in Pristina”, Petkoviq has declared.
The “Serbs from Kosovo and Metohia will not allow persecution, murder and be confiscated their legitimately acquired property and should all know it in Pristina and in Brussels”, Petkov said.
The Kosovo government today has approved the decision to enable registration of vehicles with RKS license plates for all vehicles equipped with license plates “PR”, “KM”, “PZ”, “GL”, “UR”, “PE”, “DA” or “A”, as well as the decision to cross the state border by citizens with personal documents issued by Serbia's authorities.
According to the communiqué with the first decision adopted by the Government of the Republic of Kosovo in today's meeting, it has been enabled that the owners of vehicles equipped with license plates “PR”, “KM”, “PZ”, “GL”, “UR”, “PE”, “DA” or “From June 10, 1999, to April 21, 2022, a recording of the vehicles with RKS plates is allowed.
The government at today's meeting has also decided to apply reciprocity to Serbia for ID.
Under the decision, Serbian citizens entering Kosovo will be equipped with a sheet of praise that temporarily replaces the use of official identification documents.
The paper-declaration will create grounds for circulation on the territory of the Republic of Kosovo and for exploitation within state institutions.
