Patricia Bernadette Ward, 67, died after being hit by a car driven by a drunk driver while in Bodrum City, broadcasts Klankosova.tv.
Ward was returning to her hotel at about two o'clock in the busy area of bars and clubs when the driver lost control of the car and crashed into the sidewalk.
The car crashed into a pillar on the side of the road and grabbed the pensioner behind a wall, which was partially destroyed by the force of the shock.
She was declared dead at the scene.
The driver has been arrested by police, local media say, while Mrs. Ward's body has been sent for autopsy.
