The project, which will be finalised in August, is expected to be completed within 18 months.
The project was released during the meeting of Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama, with Montenegrin counterpart Dritan Abazovic, under the works of the “Balkan Open Balkans summit”, held today in Ohrid.
This project is expected to cost 9m euros.
So Albanian Development Fund Director Dritan Agolli said during the presentation.
With the new bridge project we will have a cut 73-time distance between 2 countries. The bridge will be 310m with three bows, is C1 category, will be used for cars, passersmen and bicycles, and will have two lanes and parts of the resorts. The bridge has an altitude that allows the passage below it when the Bun River will be open to vessels. We're in the preparation phase of the detailed project. Within 2 months the project will be ready and then the budgeting and procurement process will take six months, by June 2023, and could be completed within 18 months. The bridge is projected to cost 9m euros”, Agolli said.
