Infrastructure and Energy Minister Belinda Balluk as a project of important national values singled out the construction of the railway that will connect the two countries.
Construction of the Tirana-Pristina railway will create the possibility that all the access Albania has to the Mediterranean Sea, to Albania and Kosovo.
The “is a project that will not only connect the two countries with the railway, but also through the concept of the two ports, the port of Durres and the dry port of Pristina. It is a very modern concept that has been implemented in highly developed countries in terms of trade”, the Minister of Infrastructure told Euronews Albania.
Balluk said it remains to open races to have a winning company for project implementation. The minister said it is projected that the railway could be completed within a four-year period.
