LDK aims to adopt resolution to reduce excise, TVS for oil

The Democratic League of Kosovo aims through the adoption of the resolution at tomorrow's session of the Assembly to lower excise and TVSha for oil. In the opposition party, Albin Kurti criticises the prime minister for lack of decision-making to help citizens. While, they accuse the government leader of failing to keep his promises and disrupt reports with international allies. LDK MP [...]

LDK MP Valentina Bunnjaku-Rejepi says price hikes have become unbearable for Kosovo citizens.

According to her, the executive should take measures proposed by the LDK for the economic crisis in the country on the basis.

“We like LDK have other causes, as we are also criticising the government, but even saying our options in progress, we are only critical of the opposition, but we are also giving proposals for our solutions. The LDK has submitted proposals for the removal of excise and TVS for oil, for the price of endors in our Republic, you know that Mr. Kurti, when he was in opposition, has said that Kosovo has become a compatible and affordable country for Kosovo citizens. Now, with Kurti Government, citizens have an unaffordable life in Kosovo, as prices have grown dramatically, oil and up to essential elementary products”, it says.

According to opposition MP, Prime Minister Kurti has not kept any promise since he came to power.

Mr. Kurti's since no promise came to power has been kept. Is Mr. Kurt who has opposed Ahtisaari's Pack, now calling on it. Is Mr. Kurti, when the bread was 30 cents, protested and opposed, now the price of bread has increased. It's Mr. Kurt who has staged protests where our citizens have lost their lives. Is Mr. Kurti being summoned to Astrit Deharin, and now has his case become white with”, claims Bunjaku-Rexhepi for KosovaPress.

It accuses the government leader of disturbing even reports with international allies, including Albania, Montenegro and Northern Macedonia.

The report with the international community has marred reports with all the states of our ally that President Rugova has built for decades. Now we don't have good reports, let alone with the United States and the EU, but we don't have good reports either with Albania, Montenegro and North Macedonia”, she adds.

In addition, the LDK deputy appealed to the executive that KLA veterans do not leave the minimum wage.

We're about to clear lists, we're the veterans to be allowed a job to work and not to leave (the minimum salary). They must be on this bill and the prosecution's time to clear veterans' lists”, Bunjaku-Rexhepi concludes.

Parliamentary debate in the country, initiated by LDK, will be held Monday over price hikes in the country
