Kurti has said during this conversation that the current Constitution does not allow Kosovo's union with Albania, while calling it controversial, as well as blaming the special UN minister, Martti Ahtisaari.
“have the same language, same traditions and we have common cultural and historical consciousness. I have won this mandate of work and justice, and I want to make the state of Kosovo strong and economically administrative. I don't see Kosovo's reinforcement going against Albania. But we currently don't have the right to join someone because the Constitution under Ahtisaari has made this contradiction, because point 1.1 says Kosovo is an independent country, while point 1.3 does not allow it to join another country”, he has declared.
