Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti has said that to have Open “Balkan”, Serbia should be opened to Kosovo.
The government head said the readiness for regional co-operation is expressed with support for the Berlin Process and commitment to the common regional market.
“We do not believe in the self-sufficientness of the Balkans, the Balkans do not consist of only 6 states in general. The Western Balkans still incompatible in the EU are made up of six countries with whom these can be treated together because we have states that haven't condemned and imposed sanctions on Russia. There are countries in the Western Balkans that are on the Ukraine side, and we have states like our northern neighbour's work on the side of the Russian federation and its despotic president. To get the Balkans open, it is Serbia that needs to be opened to Kosovo”, Kurti said.
