Within the executive is the Office for Good Governance, Human Rights, as well as Equal Access and Against Discrimination. That's where this event will start.
There, Kosovo President Vjosa Osmani will give the speech, as will Justice Minister Albulen Haxhiu.
Unlike political figures in Kosovo, there will be several of the ambassadors of Western countries present and address.
The Crenaria Week this year takes place at the time when there is debate on the Civil Code, in that bill it is possible for LGBT community members to legally connect family communities.
On March 16th of this year, the vote of “Cavi” in the Kosovo Assembly had failed.
Part of the party's deputies in the Vetevendosje Movement were against the bill because it included the article allowing LGBT community members to connect family communities.
Besides, neither opposition parties participated in the vote. The Civil Code bill will be restored to the Kosovo Assembly for Voter.
