“E sanctioned with Article 142 regarding Article 22 of the Criminal Law of Yugoslavia's Socialist Federation Republic (c. “LP-RSFJ”, as a law in effect at the time of the conduct of criminal acts, currently sanctioned according to the war crimes act in serious violation of Article 3 in the Geneva conventions, sanctioned by Article 146 concerning Article 31 of Code No. 06/L-074 Penal of the Republic of Kosovo.”, the media report said.

The case concerns the offensive of Serbian military, police and paramilitary forces of the 07.05.1999 region of Peja, where nine nine civilians of Albanian nationality were allegedly killed and five other Albanian civilians disappeared as well.

By order of the State Prosecutor, the defendant is under arrest and police ban to be sent before the Pre-emptive Procedure Judge within the legal deadline.
