The old tariffs have ended their mandate on February 8th, while new tariffs are suspended by courts.
K E SCO on the other hand has applied new tariffs to the May bills, because of the Z decision. The RRE happened in the middle of the process.
But this month the country may remain completely without electricity. That, because there are no fees.
K E SCO has asked the ZERE for clarification on how to act, while the latter has sought clarification from the tribunal. And the clarifications haven't come from anyone yet.
“ZERE is the organ that determines the tariffs, that's what it's done every time. KEDS implements those decisions. The new tariffs have been suspended by the court, while older ones that have been in force for a year have completed their mandate on February 8th. Now for the first time there is no power fee in place. There is a danger that KED will cut power supplies, even withdraw altogether from the Kosovo market. The government happens at a point that they are not aware of how to act. But considering the confusion about the implementation of the decision also made by the Universal Minister's Provider over luck, Z. THREE has been addressed to the Supreme Court in judicial opinion, Court of Appeals, Constitutional Court and the Judicial Council, seeking guidelines on the way to implement the Court's decision. The government is also awaiting this clarification”, a source from the Kosovo Government told Periscope.
Although new and old tariffs are not in force, KEDS is not that this situation has damaged it so much, as it is still operating with suspended tariffs. “As you know we regarding Z's decision We've requested clarification. Since this institution is a decision-making body for tariffs and we're just executive companies, please address Z for these details. RRE-se”, KEDS have said briefly about Periscope.
“A is feared that KEDS could cut power supply because there are no tariffs in power”, specifically asked Z. The 2nd from Periscope. This institution has not returned answers.
ZERE, on May 18th, 2022, by the Court of Appeals, has acknowledged the ruling, with which the Court has rejected the ZERE complaint and confirmed the Constitutional Court's decision to postpone the execution of the Z-Proposed decision on electricity retail tariffs approved by Z. THREE, until the court decides with the court's final verdict, regarding the indictment of the indictment.
The ZERE Board, at an extraordinary meeting on May 20, 2022, made a decision to implement the Court's decision, postponing the execution of the decision on electricity retail.
Following the decision's accession, the Universal Service (FSHU) electrical power supplier has requested instructions from the ERE regarding the manner of implementing the ZERE decision, which is derived from the Court of Appeals Act. COST, as well as a public response, has indicated that the situation created after the Apel Court's decision jeopardises the security of the power supply, as well as the key agreement with ENTSO-E.
Since the amendments do not contain clarifications on how to implement them, creating major uncertainty of implementation, Z. The RRE has been addressed to competent courts for guidelines on how to implement the Act to postpone the execution of the decision on retail electricity. At the same time, Z. THE RHR is addressed to the Supreme Court through the exercise of extraordinary legal means.
Despite the Apel's decision to refuse the ZERE complaint by granting the Foundation's ruling right, citizens are still being hit with the expensive fee. This is expected to happen for this month. And real steps have been taken. The prosecution has announced they have already begun investigating the Z. RRE's on this case. /Periscopi/
