Prime Minister Albin Kurti has said it was a request of the National Albanian Council and representatives of Presevo, Medvedja and Bujanoc.
“In order to support the political cause of Albanians in Presevo, Medvedja and Bujanoc, and on the basis of the proposed demand, it is proposed to divide the assets worth 50 thousand euros in support of the lobbying activities of the Albanian National Council and Albanian representatives there. Tools are proposed to be separated from budgeted means to the prime minister's office in the “support programme for the Presevo Valley”, Kurti said at the Government meeting.
Kosovo aid comes after the Presevo Valley was left without Albanian representatives in Serbia's Parliament. Shaip Kamberi failed to win the MP's mandate for a very small number of votes.
