Among the violations that have been identified in the Auditor report is also the complete non-registerment of diplomatic and Consulial Mission spending.
According to this report, in 2021 there was a circulation of cash available through the pockets of envoys for diplomatic missions worth 2,203,492. Most of them were not registered as expenses of accessing the Diplomatic Consulal Missions.
“In 2021 the state of cash ready and open advance in the MPJD, including Diplomatic and Consulial Missions (MDK), was worth 2,203,492. Of them, 1,986,538 meant no registration of expenditures, reimbursements and consular access to the MDK, while the 216,954m stake was MPJD's petty-cash”, the audit report noted.
As follows, unregistered expenses are trending and increasing year-on-year.
The Auditor's office has asked the director of the dictatorship, Donika Grovalla-Schwarz, to secure all expenses carried out in the Diplomatic and Consulial Missions to register at the Kosovo Finance Management Information System by the end of the year.
