Turns out, Europe “not” on cocaine, every week a new synthetic drug comes up

Europe is “noting” on drugs. In the first sense, according to the 2022 European Observatory's Report on Drugs and Povertys, which analysed the situation of the 27 European Union countries, as well as of two countries like Norway and Turkey. One of the parameters was precisely the analysis of the waters in European metropolis, where a presence [...] was identified.
One of the parameters was exactly the analysis of the waters in European metropoliss, where a record presence of cocaine was identified, but also of methamphetamine and other narcotics, especially synthetic.
Although drug use has never been exhausted during the pandemic two years, in recent months there has been a significant increase, even because of the ease with which these illegal substances can already be found on the market. “NarcoticLandes have never been so accessible, social media applications and cryptovalus look the most used instruments”, claims Alxis, Goosdeel, the director of the Observatory.
Besides traditional drugs, new substances are added daily. At least 52 new species, mainly synthetic, were signaled in 2021, out of which almost 7 tons were seized, mainly of origin from India, the country that took over the production leadership of these substances after China strictly closed borders due to COVID-19.
Clearly, cocaine remains the “Queen” of drug trafficking in Europe and not alone. According to estimates, its EU market totals up to 13 billion euros, about 1/3 of all narcotics trafficking. The 150 tons of cocaine sequentials in only 2021, the figure of this record for all time, tells of the dimensions of illegal white traffic and dust, but growing by 477%, is also the methamphetamine market, which has European and global production of the Czech Republic, Netherlands and Belgium as the top hub.
It is disturbing that partnerships among international criminal organisations have produced such large cocaine availability, almost on an industrial scale”, European Commissioner for Internal Affairs Ylva Johansson said, commenting on the report. /A2 CNN
