EU spokesman: Today's dialogue meeting will be energy

The European Union has confirmed that on Tuesday, 21 June in Brussels, meetings will be held under dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia, in which the energy agreement for the day will be in order and preparations for a summit between Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti and Serbia's president [...]
“Tomorrow, on 21 June, EU special envoy Miroslav Lajcak will be host to another round of meetings under dialogue at the level of chief negotiators” said Peter Stano, EU spokesman for foreign policy and security.
He has said that the <x0 tomath will focus on finalising a guide that will help implement the 2013 and 2015 Energy Agreement, as well as on other issues, including preparations for the upcoming 911 summit.
The EU expects at this meeting at the chief negotiator level to have a concrete consensus on implementing the energy agreement and possibly signing a statement on the issue of the unknown. Kosovo Deputy Prime Minister Besnik Bislimi and Serbia's delegation chief Petar Petkov have been invited for meetings.
As for the Energy Agreement, diplomats say it is about the same agreement that was reached in 2013, it was confirmed in 2015, while now the parties will only agree on its implementation plan. The European Union is expected to have the role of facilitators even in implementing this agreement.
As for opportunities for the summit between Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti and Serbia's President Aleksandar Vuciq, EU sources say this will depend on the parties' readiness to achieve concrete results in the dialogue. If at the level of top negotiators Tuesday there will be results then even the chances for meeting at the golden level will be greater, diplomatic sources in Brussels say. /rel/
