At a joint media conference, Rama also cited Kosovo.
He said that in addition to the five Western Balkan countries that are lined up side by side with Ukraine, there is also one country, Kosovo, which Ukraine has not recognised.
The Albanian prime minister said Kosovo is doing the same thing that other states have done with sanctions against Russia, even though Ukraine has not recognised it.
There's one more thing I can't talk to the president yet, but I want to tell him later. The Perdimor Balkans have 5 countries in the United Nations, all are listed side by side with Ukraine, despite different history, despite different contexts, despite relations with Russia. But there is also a 6th country that Ukraine has not yet recognised, Kosovo, which despite that, is doing exactly the same thing that everyone is doing with sanctions and full support.
That means we're in a good line defined, then what we are and what we represent, I strongly believe it's the right thing to do”, Rama said.
