The dezination process, usually conducted in May, has not yet started for this summer season, and such a situation has concerned vacationers not only about comfort but also about their health.
Besides the coastline, the dezinectation was not conducted even in urban areas.
The Durres municipality has confirmed that it has only completed the disinfectation of the beaches, but for the disinfectation it requires tools they do not possess.
The state budget has made a $77m fund available for this process to be carried out throughout the country's coastline.
