Dozens of cannabis plantations growing in Spain, Albanian-run organisation destroyed

A criminal organization that had cultivated whole cannabis plantations in various areas of Spain has been destroyed by Spanish police during a large - scale operation.

56 people have been arrested acting on behalf of this organisation, which worked in the Catalonia region.

1.2 tonnes of cannabis was produced annually by this organisation in Spain, whose leaders are Albanians, report Spanish media. The profits are estimated to have been around 3.1m euros annually, while in total, this organisation has circulated 9m to 12m euros during all criminal activity.

24 cannabis plantations have been discovered in four provinces of the Catalonia region in Spain. According to Spanish authorities, this organization is one of the largest networks involved in the trafficking of the Mariarians and human beings.
