Croatian Foreign Ministry: Volin was part of Milosevic's criminal regime policy

Croatia's Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs (MVEP) responded to Serbian Interior Minister Aleksandar Vulin, who said Monday that <x1 Serbs are leading Croats to the appropriate “ana” of history. The MVEP's response is being followed as a whole: today's “Declarations from the Republic of Serbia once again show one [...]
MVEP's response is being followed overall:
Today's “Declarations from the Republic of Serbia once again indicate extreme confusion in both the interpretation of the current global events and the interpretation of the 20th century's historical events.
Looking back thirty years and the current political leadership, Serbia's position towards Russia's aggression against Ukraine and why it is the right “of history” for Serbia is clear. What we see today in Ukraine is that Serbia, under the leadership of Slobodan Milosevic's political regime, tried to successfully implement in the first half of the 1990s with aggression against the Republic of Croatia and the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina. We remember that they were detained by Croatian military forces under the direction of the first Croatian president, Franjo Tudjman.
In addition, like many other active politicians in Serbia, Minister Volin was politically part of Slobodan Milosevic's criminal regime policy, which left behind many innocent victims and numerous disasters throughout Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Kosovo.
As such, the policy of Great Serbia has been condemned as such in numerous decisions of relevant international courts, but Minister Volin still seems to believe Serbia was in the appropriate “ana of history” even then.
Finally, it is known that Serbia today is a candidate for membership in the European Union, which as the political and economic union of states has its values. But the fundamental value of our European family is the rule of law, which includes respect for international order. The same international order that has been marred by Russia's aggression against sovereign and independent Ukraine. Therefore, we call on Serbia once more that as soon as possible, it will harmonise its policy with the EU's common foreign and security policy on the issue of aggression against Ukraine, and thus remain really on the right side of history”.
