Torres has said Serbia is Russia's representative, while Kosovo is a staunch friend of the US.
“Remember that Serbia is a representative of Russia, while Kosovo is a steadfast friend of the United States. We in the U.S. should never forget who our true friends are”, he wrote.
On Sunday, President Vuciq announced he has signed agreements with Russia on gas supplies.
Prime Minister Albin Kurti and President Vjosa Osmani have reacted to this agreement.
“They don't even need to meet again: agreements between Putin and Vuciq are now reached through phone calls. But this is what Vuciq said about Kosovo after his 19th meeting with Putin in Sochi on November 25th 2021<18x1>, Kurti wrote.
Meanwhile, the state chief has said Serbia is making economic ties with Putin at the time of the invasion of Ukraine.
Vuciqi's deliberate decision to take Russia's side is a blow to Serbia's prospects of walking on the EU path. He has chosen to join a war criminal and finance Putin's war on a united, peaceful and prosperous Europe. The EU can no longer ignore the devastating path Osmani has taken.
