Bus denied to 57 illegal immigrants in Obilic, 48 of them Syrian citizens

“In the village of Milosevo of Obilic, at 01.06.2022 around 22:00, a bus has been banned for police officers from the Pristina Regional Traffic Unit. The bus with local license plates and directors S.U., (born year 1988, Kosovo male), had 57 foreign citizens on board, 48 from Syria, 5 from Egypt, 2 from Iraq, 1 from Palestine and 1 from Bangladesh”, police announce.
According to police, foreign citizens had allegedly come through illegal routes from Turkey and the goal of arrival had West states.
“Rasti, the migrants have been treated by police officials from the Directorate for Migration and Foreign and the same have been sent to the Asylum Centre in Magure. The custody prosecutor has been announced in the case, and in co-ordination with him to the bus manager, the immigrant smuggling case has been initiated. The suspect has been interviewed in the presence of the defence attorney and then by the prosecutor's decree sent to the detention for 48 hours”, the police report said.
