This historic event for Albania has preceded a meeting of Prime Minister Edi Rama with UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres.
Albania has joined the United Nations Security Council, as a non-permanent member, where it has also claimed the responsibility of co-parter with the United States on the Ukrainian issue.
Albania at the Council has shown determination alongside the US in the council's leadership with several resolutions for Ukraine.
