Under the deal adopted Tuesday between the two states, electricity in the northern part of Kosovo will fatify “Electric D.O.O.”, a company which is owned by the Serbian state.
“Electricity D.O.” is a company registered with the Agency for Registering Business in Kosovo (ARBK) in 2018, show public data of the Government of Kosovo, .
Based on business registry data in Kosovo, “Electric D.O. O” is a private company, 100 per cent of which is managed by Serbia's state-owned company, “JP Elektroprivreda Srbije”.
“The Belgrade-based JP Elektroprivreda Srbije” is a public company founded and managed by the Government of Serbia.
Thus, through its sister company in Kosovo, which under the Brussels Agreement will be licensed for electricity supply in the north, the Serbian public company will be implicated in the destiny of electricity for consumers in the north.
“We have requested that this be done in accordance with the agreement, to be made by Elektrosever, respectively, which is the ePS sister (EPS Exector Provreda Srbije)”, the Serbian List said in a news release Tuesday.
