Zemaj wants health support staff paid as soon as possible, this neglect is scandalous

Former Health Minister Andmend Zemaj in an interview for Online Economics has said treatment being conducted to health professionals has been denigrated by neither supporting them financially. He even said that 1,000 people from the support staff and nurses have received answers to their failure to pay.

He called for this part of the health staff to be paid as soon as possible.

“over the course of last year, but even in the first part of this year we have been trying to identify and call on the legal and constitutional consciences and responsibility of this government and the Ministry of Health in the way that São is treating health professionals”, he said.

According to Zemaj, this is irresponsible to health support staff.

This treatment has deigned with some kind of irresponsability and inability to deal with support to them, but also with problems that exist as a requirement of their financial support for the jobs they do. It has now recently happened that more than 1,000 support and nursing staff do not get an answer for their failure to pay them and not be given answers to the way they handle the contract, which they have offered”, Zemaj told Online Economy.

He has yet to say that this payment is scandalous and that this health staff must be paid because the pandemic has yet to be completed.

This is scandalous in its sense because even initial institutions would have a response at least, but the inability to deal with the situation even with the budgetary burden is the real indicator of this situation. So those persons have to be paid because the pandemic has not yet finished”, Zemaj said.
