Serbia's President Aleksandar Vuciq has said Washington's agreement has been broken after Kosovo officially submitted its membership application to the Council of Europe on Thursday, Danas reported.
A few minutes after the government adopted the initiative for membership in principle, Vuciqi addressed the media, telling them that “broke down” the agreement referred to Kosovo.
Vuciq has warned he will gather the Security Council on Friday. He said Wednesday that for Kosovo there would be “serious response” in case it applies.
His party member, Vladimir Djukanovic, said on Thursday he sees the real possibility of Kosovo's membership in the Council of Europe.
