This alarm of the Serbian president comes after he declared that Kosovo will apply tomorrow to membership in the Council of Europe

Vuciq, after informal dinner in Brussels, has said Kosovo Foreign Minister Donika Grovalla has confirmed that Kosovo will apply for membership in this institution tomorrow.

According to him, for Serbia this is unacceptable, therefore all political means to oppose it will be used.

He has warned that a meeting of Serbia's National Security Council will be held within 36 hours. We're going to start political reactions. If anyone thinks he can blackmail us and break Serbia under pressure, it won't be as easy as it can be imagined”, the Serbian president has declared

“The situation is very complex for us and tomorrow it will become even heavier because Mrs. Gervala has confirmed that she will apply for membership in the Council of Europe. It's a violation of all the agreements, but they're not giving up because they say they're an independent state. We are facing a serious situation because they are using the situation in Ukraine, accusing us of being a protracted hand of Russia”, Vuciq told reporters.
