He made those statements after meeting with Albanian Foreign Minister Olta Xhacka.
This morning with Foreign Affairs Minister Olta Gacka. We stressed that Albania fulfilled all of the Council's conditions. Albania is now ready to officially open membership negotiations. We support keeping the first IGC during the French presidency of the Council”- Warheyl said.
Albanian Foreign Minister Luigi di Maio will also hold a meeting with his Italian counterpart.
He will then take part in the business lunch with the foreign ministers of the European Union and the Western Balkans.
