At least one person has died, and others have been injured after two train cars came out of the tracks and crashed near Vienna.
Authorities said the accident took place yesterday around 6:00 in the district of Mödling, south of the Austrian capital.
A Red Cross spokesman told the APA news agency that three people were seriously injured and nine others were injured more easily, Euronews writes.
Rescue workers and four emergency helicopters were stationed at the scene, near the village of Müncendorf.
Authorities say 56 passengers and a driver were traveling to Vienna when the train went off track, and a car crashed in nearby fields.
No further information on getting off the tracks.
Last year, seventeen people were injured after a regional train carrying students came off track on a river in the Austrian Alps.
