Secretary - General NATO Jens Stoltenberg said “Ukraine could win the fight” against Russia. Speaking from Brussels, he said Russia has failed to conquer Kyivin and Kharkivin and that it has delayed the attack on Donbas.
Stoltenberg added that the entry of Finland and Sweden into NATO would make those countries safer, writes Croatian news agency Index, reports The Express.
Russia's offensive in Ukraine is failing, and its operation in the Donbas region has stalled.
“Russian war in Ukraine is not going as planned by Moscow. They failed to invade Kyiv. They're being pulled out of Kharkiv and their major offensive in Donbas has stalled”, he added.
Stoltenberg says NATO is closely following what Russia is doing and is willing to act if Russia launches an attack on NATO members.
