The act in question was proclaimed Thursday by Judge Adnan Kamberi, reports “The Justice Act”.

Selmanaj is charged with having been charged in the quality of the former adviser to the deputy prime minister of the Republic of Kosovo as a senior public official, he has been obliged to make a statement of property at the Anti-Corruption Agency for the period 1 January through 31 December 2020, but the same has not done in the earlier term.

Under this indictment, the fined sentence charged is to be paid in the 15-day term after the failure of this sentence.

Selmanaj is also obliged to pay procedural spending and that amount of 30 euros on behalf of the judiciary and another 30 euros for the crime victims' compensation fund.

Against this act, the disgruntled parties have a 15-day complaint between them in terms of accepting a written judgment.

Otherwise, at the initial session held on May 11th of this year, accused Selmanaj has pleaded guilty to the burden of criminal acts.

The Constitutional Prosecutor in Pristina, on February 11th, 2022, has filed charges against Nami Selmanaj, who charges him with criminal work “No reporting or false reporting of property, income, gift, other material benefits or financial obligations”.

The indictment reportedly claims defendant Selmanaj in the quality of former deputy adviser to the prime minister of the Republic of Kosovo, qualified as top public official, has acted contrary to Article 8 paragraph 1 of the 04/ L-050 for the declaration, background and control of the assets of senior public officials and the declaration, background and check gifts for all official persons.

According to the indictment, Selma has been obliged to declare his property to the Anti-Corruption Agency through the form of property declaration, for the period of January 1st to December 31st 2020, but the same, although he has been informed within the legal deadline, he has not done the same in the previous term, reasoning that the same one has thought he has completed this obligation.

In this, Selmanaj is accused of committing criminal work “not reporting or reporting false wealth, income, gift, other material benefits or financial obligations”, by Article 430 paragraph 1 of the Republic of Kosovo's Penal Code ( KPRK's work, which is punishable by fine or imprisonment for up to three years.
