Israeli Foreign Minister Jair Lapid today criticised Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov for comparing Ukrainian President Voldymyr Zelensky to Adolf Hitler, calling the statement a “unforgiving, shameful and historical error”.
Lapid said he expected an apology and announced he would invite the Russian ambassador to Tel Aviv to express his protest, Israeli media reports.
