Two Russian soldiers were convicted at the Kotelevsky Court in Ukraine's Polanva region this Thursday for “violation of the laws and customs of war” committed with preliminary group conspiracy.
Soldiers Oleksandri Bobykin and Oleksandr Ivanov are accused of firing Grad missiles from Russia's Belgorod region towards Ukraine's Kharkiv region on 24 February, CNN writes.
Based on details published by the tribunal, soldiers are accused of shooting by artillery, damaging civilian infrastructure objects, including two private houses in Kazacha Lopan and Veternne in Kharkiv.
They were seized by Ukrainian forces in Kharkiv, according to the court's memorandums, as the decision will be handed out on May 31st.
