Following the failure of capture of Kiev or the second city of Kharkiv, Russia is trying to capture the rest of the two alleged separatist provinces, Donetsk and Luhansk, and to trap Ukrainian forces at the corner of the main front of the birth.
Ukraine's president, Voldymyr Zelensky, has said Russia has launched an offensive in Sievierodonetsk early Wednesday and that the village is under repeated missile attacks.
The governor from Luhanscu, Serhiy Gaidai, has said six civilians have been killed and at least eight injured in Sievierodonetsk. /Periscopi/
