Ministry spokesman Igor Konasenkov claims that more than 300 Ukrainian soldiers have been killed in the last 24 hours, reports the BBC.
He also said that a number of other Ukrainian military targets were hit in the offensive, including a Russian defence system that crashed a Ukrainian fighter plane “SU-25” in Dnipro.
