Colonel Denis Kozlov, 40-year-old, was the second commander of the 12th Brigade “Red Banner” who was killed in the conflict.
Kozlov had replaced Colonel Sergei Porokhyna, 45-veycar, who was killed in Ukraine on 14 March.
But the officer was killed on May 11th during a failed attempt to advance the Donbas region, as Ukrainian troops successfully pushed Russian forces back.
Kozlov, who was guarding an area around the river, was killed after a missile attack by Ukrainian forces. /Periscopi/
