Recak Massacre denial: Ambassador Havenier reacts to Lavrov and his couples

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, yesterday in a statement denied Recak's massacre, as do the heads of the Serbian state, both Alexander Vulin and his Aleksander Vuciqi.

But to that, through a tweet, the American ambassador to Kosovo, Mr. Jeff Havenier, has reacted, writing:

“Efforts to rewrite and deny the well documented history of the Recak massacre degrefix war crimes, dishonor the memories of the dead and reopen the wounds of survivors”, writes Hovier, as he joins the pieces from his word to the commemoration of Recak's Massacre.

 “Peace and security comes only from an admission of past crimes. This is vital to ensure that these serious crimes do not occur in”

“In response to this cruel and other, the United States, along with our NATO allies, acted in defense of civilians in the name of peace, freedom and stability. These purposes deeply reflect the values held by the American and Western. We believe that all people, regardless of ethnic background and religion, deserve the dignity of living in freedom and safety”.

In a line with Lavrov, there are Serbian officials, such as Serbia's Interior Minister Alexander Vulin, who repeatedly calls it “a lie” Recak's massacre, while killing Albanian civilians as “falsification”.

Recak's massacre is known as one of the most cruel massacres in Kosovo. Serbian police and military forces in Kosovo, on January 15th 1999, killed 45 Albanian civilians, including women and children.
