The PSD says the measures the government has taken against the price-highed situation are conservative.
Kosovo's “Life has been very difficult. Within a few months of this year, the prices of products have been expensive, and as a result, their wages have been lost. In the face of this, institutional reaction is delayed wrong. The measures this government has taken in the face of the crisis are austerity and conservative precisely the opposite of the needs of the majority.
So hard to live that hope remains only to escape, from this order, from these conditions, from this difficult existence. They don't find the voice of solidarity in the institutions here, but at the next “”, the distant”, says in the communique.
The PSD says union demand is legitimate and must be approved by the government.
Its “is due to institutional irresponsibilities now and two days now we have union, education and KED strikes. Their demands, other than legitimate, are reasonable and feasible; from 100 euros increase for each worker, passage of the Law of Salaries and implementation of the Health Insurance Law. These demands are being met with resistance; the Kurti government, as a left, was expected to have unions allies. What they actually brought in is a new order of action, where social dialogue collapses and natural unions are hostile. They did so when they passed the Law on the minimum wage without consulting the demands of unions and other civil organisations; as few governments in the world. The economic crisis is being carried on the shoulders of the few, as they are led by a government that ignores them. Quick and urgent intervention is needed for the effects of the crisis to ease the livelihood. Therefore, unionists' demands should be approved”, the communiqué says.
