The commander of the Ukrainian National Guard Brigade, Denys Shlega, said in a television interview Sunday that the bombings began as soon as rescue crews stopped the evacuation of civilians at the Azovstal steel plant.
He said dozens of young children remain in bunkers under industrial facilities.
