Democratic Party of Kosovo MP Ganimette Musliu has commented on the Special Court's decision to former heads of the KLA War Veterans' Organisation, Hysni Gucati and Nasim Haradinaj, with 4 and a half years in prison.
Musliu said the decision on Haradinaj's Gucat is a political decision, while adding that political decisions are never expected to establish justice.
For the Special Court, she said it is Kosovo's most shameful institution, while morally added she feels calm.
I'm extremely upset and frustrated by yesterday's decision, even though I'm morally calm in my conscience that despite pressures I'm one of the only five deputies of the Parliament that I've said not to this court, for which I want to thank all those who rely on me, even morally, by believing in my decision to have a right to<1>, Musliu for Klanosovatv.
As to the issue that the break-up of the Special Court, Musliu said such an initiative strongly supports and that its ratification of the assembly was wrong.
Any action against the Special Court is strongly supported. The review for the establishment of this court by former President Jahjaga and Baroness Ashton was a mistake to be ratified in the Assembly and then unfair and wrong was the verdict on court”, Musliu said, Klakosova.tv reports.
For her colleagues from the Democratic Party of Kosovo who voted in favour of the Special Court vote, Musliu said they should ask them how they feel.
And as for my colleagues, it's unfair that I give them my opinion, luckily everyone's alive and everyone can talk about how he feels today”, Musliu has expressed himself, Klonkosova reports.
We remember that the Special Court was founded on August 3rd 2015, where 82 deputies were pro-founding and five opposed, including MP Ganimetie Musliu.
