Prime Minister Albin Kurti and Defence Minister Armend Mehaj in Iowa have visited the contingent of KSF soldiers conducting training together with the soldiers of the Iowa National Guard.
There they met with soldiers Lulzim Statovci, Fidan Nishevci, Arianit Prushi and Malsor Haxhiu.
Stressing that the Iowa National Guard has been and continues to be key to the professional establishment of the KSF and to professional preparation towards achieving NATO standards, Kurti also praised last year's co-operation, when, together with American troops of the Iowa National Guard, The KSF has accomplished its first and historic mission of landing in the state of Kuwait.
Kurt expressed gratitude to our soldiers for their devotion to serve the country.
He said that the daily engagement in training to advance their skills and skills and strength is vital to Kosovo's commitment to stability and security in the region.
Through increasing the defence budget for 52%, he said the government is proving its goal by establishing the professional capacity of KSF to have a force capable of fulfilling its constitutional duties to protect the country, but also to co-operate with partners and allies in maintaining peace in the region and the world”.
Kosovo government chief thanked members of the Iowa National Guard for their support in building KSF capacities.
